(We at BDMA do treat JJ belts slightly differently than some other JJ schools in that we have a bit of our
Japanese Martial Arts Respect even in our Jiu-Jitsu classes. Our program is not just about knowing random
techniques, tapping people out, winning comps or  doing slick moves- students must show respect,
manners and our style of Jiu-Jitsu, meaning learning and using the techniques we teach in our classes.
Good basics and great sportsmanship are the cornerstones of our program but from there we add cutting
edge techniques from the 10th Planet and other systems, drills, health and fitness are stressed and lots of
FUN. Though we love to compete and do our best, you must learn to win AND lose to be a true champ:)
